Notes
The duration in months of postpartum amenorrhea after the birth of the last child born in the three years preceding the calendar. The maximum period allowed during the data editing was the interval between the date of birth of the child and the date of conception of the following child (date birth less seven months was used for the date of conception) or the date of interview if there was no following birth. Cases which exceeded this duration were left with the original response, but are coded with one of the flag codes on variable V432 and were set to code 97 "Inconsistent" on variable V431.
