Definition
In terms of demographics, age is defined as units of time (days, months or years) ever passed by someone in his life. Since this age is always rounded down under the age of last birthday. Experience has shown that the age of the respondents tend to be rounded up. For that, need to be asked again whether the respondent has reached the age at the answer. Once sure of the answers regarding the respondent's age, input into the answer box. Entries in this column between 0-98 years.
example:
1. If the respondent says that he was born on 7 April 1951, and or census in September 2008, the age of respondents was 57 years (2008-1951).
2. If the respondent says he was born on December 22, in December 1951, and or census in September 2008, the age of respondents 56 years (2008-1951-1).
3. Respondents born on 10 Sha'ban 1397 H, and or enumeration in September 2008, as the 10th Sha'ban 1397 H coincides with the date of July 27, 1977, the respondent's age 31, (2008-1977).
