<p>Write down in the boxes the age as of the day of the census of the interviewee.
<br />(If he/she is a child less than a year old, record 00. If he/she is a person of 98 years of age or older, record 98).</p>
<p>Sometimes the interviewee will not remember his/her date of birth or age, but might remember that he/she was born during a specific event. At the end of this manual you can find a list of different important events that can help you estimate the age of the person. Use the list for guidance.
