Description

Definition
Like DOBCMCMN (MV011), DOBCMCMN_ET (MV011_ET) reports the century month code (CMC) for the man's date of birth. However, DOBCMCMN_ET is country-specific to Ethiopia, as the data are recorded using the Ethiopian calendar. For most other countries, the CMC data for the man's date of birth are recorded using the Gregorian calendar. On average, there is a seven to eight year gap between the Ethiopian and Gregorian calendars.

For detailed information on the calculation and interpretation of CMC codes, see DOBCMCMN (MV011).
