Definition
GEO_GH1993 (V101_GH1993) indicates the region of Ghana where the respondent was interviewed. DHS units in the 1993 Ghana survey are equivalent to regions.

Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. There is also an integrated variable, GEO_GH1988_2014, that provides spatially consistent units over time.
