Description

Definition
HCFRW4 indicates whether the woman reported a private dispensary as a source for female condoms. This response category is country-specific to Rwanda.

Some samples in the "HCF" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

HCFRW4 is combined with HCFRW3 (private pharmacy) in HCFPRIVDRUG (all private, formal drug sources) for the 2010 and 2014 Rwanda samples. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using HCFRW4 are encouraged to review HCFPRIVDRUG for a more comprehensive response category.
