Definition
For women who had symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection in the past 12 months, STIADPRIVOTH indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, they reported seeking advice or treatment from some "other" private medical facility for this problem. The meaning of "other" depends on the specific response categories included in a given sample.

Users should be careful to distinguish this variable from STIADPUBOTH ("other" under the public medical sector) and STIADOTHER ("other" that is not under either the private or the public medical sector).
