Definition
For women who are currently married or in a union and have had sex with someone other than their husband/partner in the last 12 months, CONUSEXMAR (V852) indicates whether a condom was used during their last extramarital intercourse.

IPUMS-DHS users may also be interested in the related variable CONUSMAN1 (V761), which indicates whether a condom was used the last time the woman had sexual intercourse with any partner.
