Definition
For children whose mothers received antenatal care, ANCTZ8 indicates whether they received care at a religious referral/specialist hospital. This response category is country-specific to Tanzania.

Some samples in the "ANC" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

ANCTZ8 is combined with ANCTZ9 (religious district hospital), ANCTZ10 (religious health center), and ANCTZ11 (religious dispensary) in ANCPRIVMIS (all faith-based facilities) for the 2004, 2010, 2015 Tanzania samples. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using ANCTZ8 are encouraged to review ANCPRIVMIS for a more comprehensive response category.
