Description

Definition
For women who had symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection in the past 12 months, STIADOTHER indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, they reported seeking advice or treatment from some "other" source for this problem. The meaning of "other" depends on the specific response categories included in a given sample.

Users should be careful to distinguish this variable from STIADPUBOTH ("other" under the public medical sector) and STIADPRIVOTH ("other" under the private medical sector). STIADOTHER includes those "other" categories that do not fit into the public or private medical sector.
