Definition
GEO_JO1990 (V101_JO1990) reports the region of Jordan where the respondent was interviewed. The units in the 1990 Jordan survey are equivalent to groups of governorates.

Other sample years for Jordan have their own sample-specific geography variables. The 1990 Jordan sample is also included in the integrated variable GEO_JO1990_2017, which provides spatially consistent units over time (excluding the 1997 and 2002 samples).
