Description

Definition
For children with a fever or cough in the past 2 weeks, FEVTRNP2 indicates, in response to an open-ended question, whether the child received treatment from a public sub-health post. This response category is country-specific to Nepal.

Some samples in the "FEVTR" series include multiple categories that can be consolidated into a single broad response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable, while also preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

For the 2006 and 2011 Nepal samples, FEVTRNP2 is combined with FEVTRNP1 (public health post) in FEVTRPUBHP (all public health posts). IPUMS-DHS users interested in using FEVTRNP2 are encouraged to review FEVTRPUBHP for a more comprehensive response category.
