Definition

PREVREGIONNP (V105ANP) indicates the province of Nepal where the respondent lived just before moving to her current place of residence. Note that the response codes may have only numeric names for the provinces (e.g., Province 1). In September 2015, Nepal formed 7 provinces; these were initially given numeric names, but the numbers refer to clearly demarcated locations. The labels in PREVREGIONNP will be updated as more provinces receive official names.
