Definition
GEO2_ PA2000 identifies the household's districts within Panama in 2000. Districts are the second level administrative units of the country, after provicnes. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO2_ PA2000 can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.
