Description

Definition
This variable indicates the subsample-wise design based weights: NSS for the household.

The instructional text for the weights follows:

For generating subsample-wise estimates based on data of all subrounds taken together, either Subsample-1 households or Subsample-2 households are to be considered at one time. Apply weight (or multipliers) as follows:

weight = IN04A053 [IN04A_WTMLTSS]
(2 implied decimals)

For generating subsample-combined estimates based on data of all subrounds taken together all households are to be considered. Apply weight (or multipliers) as follows:

weight = IN04A053, if IN04A051=IN04A052 [IN04A_WTNSS and WTNSC]
weight = IN04A053/2, otherwise.
(2 implied decimals)

Note: the latter version is the weight used in the integrated variable WTPER.
