Description

Definition
In order to deal with heterogeneous demographic household structures, adult equivalent values (EqA) were applied. the RS program chose to use a simple approach based on nutritional needs as defined by the World Health organization (WHO).

For detailed information on th conversion rates applied, the data user can refer to the methodological annex of the synthesis report.

Imputation and derivation

Derivation
The variable is derived from the matrix for household characteristics in each national database, located in the following modules:

Kenya: p2 Module 1 age and sex

Madagascar: p2 module M M4 and M5

Mali: p3 M1/4

Morocco: p1 M11 and p2 M12 (sexe (1) and age (ans))

Mexico: p4 Q24 and Q25 + p8 Q46

Nicaragua: p2 Q13 C4-C5

Senegal: p3-4 section B B9 and B10
