<br />(Questions 28 to 33 refer to the person's job or business during the past week. If person had no job last week, answer for his/her last job. If person had more than one job last week, answer for the job at which he/she worked the most hours.)</p>

<div class="i1">State the total cash income in rupees received from all sources by the person for the month of June 2000. <br /><br />Please include:</div><div class="i2">- income from paid employment (wages and salaries, commissions, bonuses, etc. before any deductions)<br />- income from self-employment (gross receipts from trade, business, profession, crop cultivation, etc. less expenses of operation)<br />- income of members of producers' co-operatives<br />- property income (interests, dividends, rent received less current maintenance expenses)<br />- social security benefits (old age pension, widow's pension, invalid pension, child's allowance, unemployment hardship relief, etc.)<br />- other income (retirement pension from a funded pension plan or former employer, life insurance annuity benefit, widow's and children pension, alimony/maintenance, scholarship grants, gifts and remittances in cash, etc.)</div><div class="i1">Where any income is received daily, weekly, fortnightly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly, insert income apportioned on a monthly basis. <br /><br />If no income was received, write: 'nil'.</div>

<br />Report the person's total cash income in rupees received from all sources for the month of June 2000.
<br />Should be included: </p>
<div class="i1">income from paid employment (before any deductions such as taxes, social security contributions, insurance premiums, etc.):</div><div class="i2">- wages and salaries, <br />- commissions, gratuities, bonuses, cost of living allowances, etc.</div><div class="i1">income from self-employment:</div><div class="i2">- net income (i.e. gross receipts less expenses of operation) from trade, business, profession, crop cultivation, etc.</div><div class="i1">income of members of producers' co-operatives:</div><div class="i2">- wages, salaries, commissions, fees, bonuses, etc received by members employed by the cooperatives, <br />- share of profits made by the co-operatives.</div><div class="i1">property income:</div><div class="i2">- interests received on savings, deposits, bonds and loans given to others, <br />- dividends received, <br />- rent received (less current maintenance expenses} for the use of residential and non-residential buildings and lands.</div><div class="i1">social security benefits:</div><div class="i2">- old age pension, <br />- widow's pension and child's allowance, <br />- invalid pension, <br />- unemployment hardship relief, <br />- other social security benefits.</div><div class="i1">other income:</div><div class="i2">- retirement pension from a pension fund or from former employer, <br />- life insurance annuity benefit, <br />- widow's and children pension, <br />- alimony/maintenance, <br />- scholarship grants, <br />- regular cash gifts and remittances, <br />- other regular income.</div><p>In cases where income is received quarterly, half-yearly or yearly (e.g: net receipt from crop cultivation, distribution of profits from trade, profession and business, interests and dividends received, etc.), insert the income which would refer to a month.
<br />Do not include lottery prizes, receipts from sales of possessions, withdrawals from savings, lump sum pension, lump sum insurance payments and lump sum inheritances.
<br />For a person who has received no income, insert "Nil".
