<br />In this section, the sociodemographic information of the members of the household in the selected home is obtained. The type of information collected varies based on the different age groups and sex of the people subject to the study, as shown on the following chart:</p>

<br />The purpose of this question is to learn the name of the state or country in which all the residents were born.</p>
<p>Instructions:</p>
<div class="i1">- How to record the information. You can enter the complete name of the federal entity or the abbreviation, if you want to speed up the survey. If you decide to enter the name, in the case of entities such as Coahuila de Zaragoza, Michoacán de Ocampo, Querétaro de Arteaga or Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave, it is not necessary to enter the official name; it will be sufficient to record the name by which it is commonly known. If you choose to enter the abbreviations, the next table shows the list of abbreviations to be used in each case:</div><div class="i1">[Omitted table]<br /><br />-Information unknown. If the informant tells you the name of a town or city, ask in which state in the republic it is located; if the response is that they do not know, enter the name of the town or city, but specify the situation in the comments section.
