This variable is now 3 characters in length, with the third character indicating the format of the recode file used for this survey. For all surveys in DHS II this code will be 2. For example: DR2 is the Dominican Republic, MA2 is Morocco, ZM2 is Zambia, and ID2 is Indonesia.
