Abstract
This dataset contains all variables used in the regressions of the paper "Institution Building and Growth in Transition Economies". The definition and sources of the different variables are explained in an appendix table of the paper, available as external resources. Please note that the growth data reported in Table 1 do not correspond to the growth data used for the analysis. The actual data used for the analysis are in the dataset. The growth data in Table 1 are from an earlier version of the paper that looked at a shorter sample period.
