Village maternity post (Polindes), is a building constructed with financial donations from the government and villagers to help births and provide a place for delivering women to stay and for a village midwife to reside. In addition to births, it also provides Maternal and Child Health (KIA) services, Birth Control (KB), and other health services, which are needed by the community and consistent with the midwife's technical competencies.
