Description

Definition
For male household members who were potential subjects for height, weight, and hemoglobin measurement, HWMMARSTAT (HB60) indicates whether they had ever been married or in a union.

This variable was typically used to help DHS personnel determine from whom consent could be obtained, in cases where the male household member was under age 18 and could not grant consent himself.
