HCMNP10 indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, the woman reported the United Mission to Nepal (UMN), a non-governmental organization (NGO), as a source for male condoms. This response category is country-specific to Nepal.

Some samples in the "HCM" series include multiple categories that can be consolidated into a single broad response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable, while also preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

HCMNP10 is combined with HCMNP6 (FPAN), HCMNP7 (Marie Stopes), HCMNP8 (ADRA), HCMNP9 (Nepal Red Cross), and HCMNP11 (other NGO) in HCMNGO (all NGOs) for the 2006 and 2011 Nepal samples.
