The purpose of this question was to establish whether a person had taken any action to look for a job or start any kind of business in the last four weeks prior to the interview. The instruction to the enumerator was to complete both given categories with either a 'Yes' or a 'No' answer. If 'No' to both part a) and b, the enumerator should skip to Question 3.3; and if any 'Yes' to part a) and b), the enumerator should continue to Q3.2.
