The random sample of 4,625 rural households was representative at the Admin 2 level (district) in 3 of Pakistan’s provinces. Households were sampled with 2-stage cluster sampling. Interviews were carried out in face-to-face mode, from 7 July to 13 August 2021, in the following districts: Bajaur, Khyber, Kurram, Mohmand, North Waziristan, Orakzai, South Waziristan, Chagai, Kech, Kharan, Killa Abdullah, Loralai, Nushki, Panjgur, Pishin, Washuk, Badin, Dadu, Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Sujawal, Tharparkar, Thatta and Umerkot.
Results are weighted: demographics and wealth, sourced from the Pakistan Social and Living Standards Measurement (PSLM) 2019-20 survey and Population Census 2017 were the characteristics used for the generation of weights.
