This study covered three governorates (Duhok, Sulaymaniyah, Erbil) and Centre-South through in-person data collection by REACH enumerators, building on a simple random sampling approach that allows findings to be statistically representative with a level of confidence of 95% and a margin of error of 5%. Due to the low presence of registered refugees in several governorates of Federal Iraq, these governorates were merged together into the Centre-South strata following consultation with UNHCR, and in line with the approach used in the MSNA assessment.
The questionnaire contained the following sections: Interviewee profile, Household Roster, UNHCR case number, Household Composition, Is not an error, Detailed summary about the number of categorized household memebers, Employment, Education and Civil Doc Barriers, Livelihood, Expenditure of household, Assets, Health, Food Security - Food Consumption Score, Food Security - Coping Mechanism: frequency, Food Security - Coping Mechanism: strategies, Shelter, WASH & Services, Shock, Social.
