Des missions de supervision ont été organisées régulièrement dans le but d'évaluer les conditions de travail de chaque équipe, de contrôler la qualité du travail, de résoudre les problèmes éventuels rencontrés par les équipes, de les ravitailler en matériel, de payer les salaires et de rapporter à Brazzaville les questionnaires remplis.
L'analyse des données de l'EDSC-I a été effectuée en collaboration avec ORC Macro. Sur les quatorze chapitres du rapport principal, neuf ont été rédigés par les cadres nationaux et les cinq autres par les experts de ORC Macro. Un séminaire d'harmonisation et de pré finalisation du rapport final, d'une durée de 6 jours, a été organisé à Nkayi (Département de la Bouenza). Ce séminaire, qui a regroupé les auteurs des différents chapitres (à l'exception de ceux de ORC Macro) et les personnes ressources, a permis aux participants de formuler des observations et de proposer des amendements susceptibles d'améliorer le rapport d'analyse. La finalisation du rapport principal et du rapport de synthèse de l'EDSCI a été effectuée au siège de ORC Macro par trois cadres nationaux assistés des experts de Macro.
Les erreurs de mesure sont celles associées à la mise en oeuvre de la collecte et de l'exploitation des données telles que l'omission de ménages sélectionnés, la mauvaise interprétation des questions de la part de l'enquêtrice ou de l'enquêtée, ou les erreurs de saisie des données. Bien que tout le possible ait été fait pour minimiser ce type d'erreur pendant la mise en oeuvre de l'EDSC-I 2005, il est difficile d'éviter et d'évaluer toutes les erreurs de mesure.
