Five WASH partners implemented the survey: NGO Forum, BRAC, OXFAM, Solidarit\u00e9 International and ACF. Preparation began in early November, as UNHCR discussed methodologies with participating agencies. \n\nSeveral meetings focused on issues such as, staffing for the data collection and financial issues such as 'per diem' allowances. Several partner enumerators and their team leaders had no previous experience in KAP surveys, therefore, training modules were developed and implemented by UNHCR WASH staff. The objective of the survey was to better plan and guide future UNHCR WASH interventions implemented through NGO partners.","coll_dates":[{"start":"2019-11-24","end":"2019-12-19","cycle":""}],"nation":[{"name":"Bangladesh","abbreviation":"BGD"}],"geog_coverage":"All UNHCR managed camps in Kutupalong and Teknaf.","analysis_unit":"Households","universe":"All households in UNHCR managed camps","data_kind":"Sample survey data [ssd]","notes":"Household level:\n\nWater collection and storage\nDrinking water hygiene\nHygiene\nSanitation\nLatrine observation\nMessaging\nWASH NFI Distribution\nDiarrhea prevalence, knowledge, and health seeking behavior\nMenstrual hygiene"},"method":{"data_collection":{"data_collectors":[{"name":"UNHCR","abbreviation":"","affiliation":""},{"name":"BRAC","abbreviation":"","affiliation":""},{"name":"NGO FORUM","abbreviation":"","affiliation":""},{"name":"OXFAM","abbreviation":"","affiliation":""},{"name":"Solidarit\u00e9 International","abbreviation":"","affiliation":""}],"sampling_procedure":"The number of interviews required to be statistically rigorous has initially been calculated to be 1,316.
