The underlying principle behind the process is linked to accountability, as well as a commitment to improve the quality and relevance of support provided, and related services. Usually the surveys that form the basis of the assessment are conducted soon after the distribution of relief items is completed. For this assessment, 1791 women recipients of menstrual hygiene management kits were interviewed, 1607 of whom answered questions about sanitary pads and underwear. 215 men were interviewed, 182 of whom answered questions about sanitary pads and underwear. These responses were excluded from the analysis. Uganda National Individuals All population of concern to UNHCR who have been recepients of MHM kits as part of non food items' distribution.
