The objective of the survey is to monitor impact and outcome level indicators on education, healthcare, livelihoods, protection concerns, shelter, and water and sanitation. The results contribute to an evidence base for reporting against UNHCR\u2019s multi-year strategies to key stakeholders.\n\nThe RMS can be implemented in any operational context. A standard structured questionnaire has been developed for the RMS, which can be conducted as a stand-alone survey or flexibly integrated with other data collection exercises. The data includes indicators collected at both the household and individual (household-member) level, and results are statistically representative.\n\nThis RMS took place in the Republic of the Congo between January and February 2023. The population of interest included refugees and asylum-seekers. The sampling frame was UNHCR's registration database (proGres) of 4,041 households. The sampling approach was random selection with stratification by area, selecting 1,900 households and 1,473 households were interviews. The mode of data collection was Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI).","coll_dates":[{"start":"2023-01-17","end":"2023-02-09","cycle":""}],"nation":[{"name":"Congo, Rep.","abbreviation":"COG"}],"geog_coverage":"Brazzaville, Cuvette, Likouala, Point Noire","analysis_unit":"Household","universe":"All people of concern","data_kind":"Sample survey data [ssd]","notes":"The scope includes: \n- demographics \n- cash and livelihoods \n- protection \n- health \n- education \n- accomodation \n- accountability \n- feedback on humanitarian assistance"},"method":{"data_collection":{"data_collectors":[{"name":"Institute National de la Statistique","abbr":"","role":"","affiliation":""},{"name":"UNHCR","abbr":"","role":"","affiliation":""}],"sampling_procedure":"The sampling involved surveying approximately 1,900 households, targeting 1,949 asylum seekers and 2,092 refugees across various departments in the Republic of Congo .","coll_mode":["Computer Assisted Telephone Interview [cati]","Computer Assisted Personal Interview [capi]"],"research_instrument":"Income, food consumption, expenditures, assets, community relations, wellbeing, resilience, mental health, health, accommodation, protection, and education"}},"data_access":{"dataset_use":{"cit_req":"UNHCR (2024).
