The monitoring system consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality). FAO launched a Round 2, computer assisted telephone interview survey on 4 January 2024 to assess the agricultural livelihoods and food security of the rural population in Honduras. Data collection continued until 2 February 2024. A total of 2700 households were interviewed (150 in each department) across the 18 departments of the country.
