The survey sampled 796 households in Burundi, including refugees, returnees, and internally displaced persons (IDPs). A stratified sampling design was employed to proportionally allocate interviews across these population groups, ensuring a balanced representation. The selection criteria considered geographical coverage and varied accommodation types, both within and outside of collective sites. This approach allows for a comprehensive understanding of the different experiences and needs within the surveyed populations.
