    Series Information
The World Bank Group Country Opinion Survey Program systematically measures and tracks the perceptions of the World Bank Group's clients, partners, and other stakeholders in client countries across the globe. Country Opinion Surveys provide systematic feedback on stakeholders' familiarity with and perceptions of the World Bank Group, its relevance and effectiveness, its development priorities, instruments, knowledge work, engagement, collaboration, and communications. Nearly all World Bank Group client countries are surveyed within a recurring multi-year cycle.
    Abstract
The Country Opinion Survey in Armenia assists the World Bank Group (WBG) in gaining a better understanding of how stakeholders in Armenia perceive the WBG. It provides the WBG with systematic feedback from government institutions, bilateral and multilateral agencies, civil society organizations, the private sector, academia and research centers, and the media in Armenia on: 1) their overall views of the WBG, including its relevance, effectiveness, and trustworthiness; 2) the WBG's work on development priorities and WBG-supported projects and initiatives; 3) the WBG's instruments, including its financial support, knowledge work, and advisory role; 4) the WBG's engagement and collaboration with stakeholders; 5) communications and outreach; and 6) the WBG's future role and priorities in Armenia.

    Sampling

    Sampling Procedure

From February to March 2026, a total of 430 stakeholders in Armenia were invited to provide their opinions on the World Bank Group's work by participating in a Country Opinion Survey. A list of potential participants was compiled by the World Bank Group country team and the fielding agency. Participants were drawn from government institutions, bilateral and multilateral agencies, civil society organizations, the private sector, academia and research centers, and the media. Of these stakeholders, 207 participated in the survey. Respondents received an email containing a link to the questionnaire and completed the survey online.

    Response Rate

    The response rate was 48%
The FY26 Country Opinion Survey results were compared with results from the FY23 Country Opinion Survey, which had a response rate of 57% and 112 respondents. Comparisons across Country Opinion Surveys reflect changes in stakeholder attitudes over time, as well as changes in respondent samples, methodology, and the survey instrument. To reduce the influence of changes to the survey instrument, only questions with similar response scales and response options were analyzed. Differences in stakeholder composition across the two survey years should be considered when interpreting the comparisons.
