Definition
a. Bagian E (Informasi tentang Responden) bertujuan untuk mencatat karakteristik dasar Responden. Informasi ini akan membantu para pelaku riset untuk melakukan analisa data dengan membandingkannya lintas karakter individual.

b. Kelompok disini tidak harus berupa organisasi formal atau lembaga. Juga tidak harus termasuk seluruh desa. Contoh: kelompok petani yang mengelola sumber air bersama atau kelompok pemimpin adat yang secara rutin bertemu tentang upacara tradisional dan masalah lainnya.
Pertemuan tersebut harus berupa kelompok yang normal.
Sekelompok laki-laki atau perempuan yang secara rutin bertemu di warung kopi untuk membahas permasalahan umum tidak dianggap sebagai "pertemuan desa".
