All living quarters in apartment buildings, including garden-type apartments in the city or suburbs, are considered <span class="em">on a city or suburban lot</span>. A <span class="em">place</span> is a farm, ranch, or any other property, other than a city or suburban lot, on which this <span class="em">residence</span> is located."
