<p>If the dwelling has electricity from the <span class="lang">Corporación Dominicana de Electricidad</span> (CDE) [Dominican Electric Corporation] circle 1 is filled in.</p>

<p>If the electricity for the dwelling's lighting comes from a system that is not from the CDE, circle 2, private system, is filled in.</p>
<p>When the dwelling has both of the previous possibilities, circle 3, CDE and private system, is filled in.</p>
<p>If the dwelling has its own generator, circle 4 is filled in.</p>
<p>If the dwelling has both a private generator and CDE electricity, circle 5 is filled in.</p>
<p>For a propane gas lamp, circle 6 is filled in.</p>
<p>For a kerosene gas lamp, circle 7 is filled in.</p>
