Definition
For children with diarrhea in the past 2 weeks, DIATRYE3 indicates, in response to an open-ended question, whether the child received treatment from a government health center. This response category is country-specific to Yemen.

Some samples in the "DIATR" series include multiple categories that can be consolidated into a single broad response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable, while also preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

For the 2013 Yemen sample, DIATRYE3 is combined with DIATRYE4 (primary health center) in DIATRPUBHC (all public health centers). IPUMS-DHS users interested in using DIATRYE3 are encouraged to review DIATRPUBHC for a more comprehensive response category.
