Loss metric over the weighted average of the escalations and total training dataset (loss)

Data file: SSD_JMR_model_details

Overview

Description

Definition
The metric the model is optimized over, the lower the value, the better the performance. Looks at the weighted average of the loss of the escalations in the target indicator and the loss of all target indicators in the training dataset

Others

Notes
A value between 0 and 1. The loss function is a weighted average between the False Positive Rate and the False Negative Rate, where a Heightened risk alert puts a heavier weight on minimizing the False Negative Rate and a Critical risk alert puts a heavier weight on minimizing the False Positive Rate. The portion of the escalations is determined with respect of the total training set via a logged weight. This weight is used to average between the loss of the escalations and the loss of the total training dataset.
