Targeting of social change on the poor has become a priority in many countries in the past two decades in response to financial constraints and policy changes to improve the program's effectiveness in eradicating poverty. The Indonesian government has launched several large-scale anti-poverty program in recent years that have helped reduce poverty, such as cash transfer program (BLT) and the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) and the Health Insurance (Askeskin). Answering the need to improve the targeting of the results, the National Planning Agency (Bappenas) has asked the World Bank to provide technical assistance in learning how to plan a household targeting system better. research findings will lead the government's decision to develop new methods to identify poor households eligible to various assistance programs. This study is a collaborative effort between the World Bank Office in Jakarta (WBOJ), Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), and academic researchers who joined the Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
