    Series Information

    This is the fourth living standards measuring survey conducted in Bulgaria. The first Integrated Household Survey (IHS) was conducted in 1995 on a sample of approximately 2,500 households. The second round was conducted in 1997 on the 1995 sample and the third IHS was conducted in 2001. From 2003, the study is known as Multitopic Household Survey (MTHS).

    Due to drop-outs, refusal and absence from home, the final number of interviewed households was 3023.
