Description

Definition
For male household members, HWMHIVBARCODE (HB62) is a 5-digit bar code for the man's blood sample (blood sample ID number), which is used for HIV testing. A blood smear is collected on a microscope slide, and the slide is labeled with a bar code instead of the person's name to protect confidentiality.
