Description

Definition

DVSELHH (HV044) indicates whether the household where the respondent lives was selected for doing any interview(s) for the female or male domestic violence module. Using a table included in the questionnaire, interviewers randomly selected the women (or men) within these households to ask the domestic violence questions.

The related variable DVMODULE reports whether women themselves were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module.
