Definition

For women who used a contraceptive method other than male or female sterilization, FPNOWMETH2 (V340) reports the second type of contraceptive method, if any, the woman used in the month before the interview. Most women using contraception did not use a second method.

When children are chosen as the unit of analysis, the woman respondent indicates the mother of the child.
