Definition
For children whose mothers received antenatal care, ANCNP9 indicates whether the mother received care from the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), a non-governmental organization. This response category is country-specific to Nepal.

Some samples in the "ANC" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

ANCNP9 is combined with ANCNP6 (UMN), ANCNP7 (FPAN), ANCNP8 (Marie Stopes), and ANCNP10 (other NGO) in ANCNGO (all NGOs) for the 2011 Nepal survey. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using ANCNP9 are encouraged to review ANCNGO for a more comprehensive response category.
