HWFBP3DIA reports the female household member's third diastolic pressure measurement.

The related variable HWFBP3SYS reports the woman's third systolic pressure measurement.

In the surveys that measured a woman's blood pressure, the interviewer measured the person's blood pressure at three different times. Because blood pressure measurements only represent an instantaneous value, the average of multiple measurements may provide more accurate results. The related variables HWFBP1DIA and HWFBP2DIA report the first and second diastolic measurements taken during the survey.
