Description

Definition
LINENOMALEPAR reports the number of the line on which the DHS interviewer recorded the name of the man's male, transgender, or intersex husband/partner, when filling out the household schedule. This variable can be used, in conjunction with HHID to match the male respondent with his partner, to allow for the analysis of couples. A value of "0" means the partner was not listed as a member of the household.

The related set of variables LINENOWIFE_ALL (MV034_x) reports the line number(s) of the man's wives and (female) partners.
