Question pretext
In this question I am again going to ask you to make the choice between two options, represented by these two jars. The first jar again contains 4 balls. If you choose the first jar, one ball will be drawn from the jar. If a black ball is drawn you will lose 400 pesos and if a white ball is drawn you will lose nothing. This means there is a chance of 1 out of 4 (25%) of losing 400 pesos and 3 out of 4 (75%) losing nothing. The second jar also contains 4 balls. If you choose the second jar also one ball will be drawn from the jar. If a black ball is drawn you will lose 200 pesos and if a white ball is drawn you will lose nothing. This means there is an equal chance of losing 200 pesos and losing nothing (fifty-fifty).
