Description

Definition
Like DOBCMC (V011), DOBCMC_AF reports the century month code (CMC) for the woman's date of birth. However, DOBCMC_AF is country-specific to Afghanistan, as the data are recorded using the Solar Hijri calendar. For most other countries, the CMC data for the woman's date of birth are recorded using the Gregorian calendar. On average, there is a 621 or 622 year gap between the Solar Hijri calendar and the Gregorian calendar.

For detailed information on the calculation and interpretation of CMC codes, see DOBCMC (V011).
