FPCURDEAL (V3A04) indicates whether the woman was told how to deal with the side effects of her current contraceptive method when she first obtained it.

The related variable FPCUREFF (V3A02) indicates whether the woman was told about the sides effects in general. FPCUREFFWKR (V3A03) indicates whether the woman was told about side effects by a health/family planning worker.
