: Record the point of time since the household has been allocated that plot of land to
manage and cultivate on their own. If the household reports that they just started cultivation on a
plot in the last 5 years, check Section 9 Part A5 to see whether the household reports obtaining
land in the last 5 years. In fact, many households started cultivation on their land prior to their
allocation for long-term use of land, and provision of the red book. Therefore, the interviewer
should pay attention to collect information on the year when the household actually started
cultivation on their land, not when they were officially allocated the use rights to the land.
